Modern Stairs
What type of wood do you use for the steps?
We work with exotic woods such as Ipé, European Oak, Walnut and
Wengué, all treated for high durability and resistance to heavy traffic.
Can the steps be illuminated?
Yes, we integrate hidden LED strips under the overhang of each step or
inside the handrail. Control by switch, sensor or home automation.
Is the structure safe for children and pets?
All our stairs exceed Miami-Dade building codes (HVHZ). They include
railings with a maximum spacing of 4 inches and 9/16 safety tempered and laminated
glass.
Glass Railings
What type of glass do you use for railings?
9/16” (14.29 mm) tempered laminated glass with HVHZ hurricane
certification. Optionally with anti-impact safety layer.
How are the glasses fixed without visible frames?
We use marine-grade 316 stainless steel hardware, fixed to the floor
or structure using clamps, jaws or a hidden pocket system.
What material are the accessories (screws, fittings) made of?
Our entire hardware kit is made of 316 stainless steel (suitable for
coastal environments) with satin, matte black or gold finishes.
Wine Cellars & Cavas
Is the cold well preserved inside the wine cellar?
Yes, we use double thermo-sealed glass (DVH) with an argon gas chamber
and a thermal aluminum frame that breaks the thermal bridge.
Is the structure airtight to prevent humidity?
Absolutely. We install food-grade silicone gaskets and continuous
magnetic closing systems that guarantee total tightness.
What type of glass is best for a wine cellar?
We recommend low-iron (extra clear) 1/4+1/4 laminated glass with UV
treatment. This avoids wine damage from light and lets you see inside without a greenish
distortion.
Pergolas & Shower Doors
Do aluminum pergolas resist hurricanes?
Our pergolas are designed with 6063-T5 structural aluminum profiles,
anti-cyclone fixings and textile membranes approved for winds up to 150 mph.
Are frameless shower doors safe?
Yes, manufactured in ANSI Z97.1 certified tempered glass, with
stainless steel hinges and anodized aluminum grip profiles.
Can LED lighting be integrated into the pergolas?
Yes, we offer hidden LED strips in the profiles, dimmable and with
remote control, ideal for nighttime outdoor environments.
